The boundary needs confirmation

NBI clearance depends on time in the Philippines before filing. PRA’s checklist says 90 days or more; its overview says more than 90 days. Treat exactly day 90 as a question to resolve with the receiving office. A long proposed stay does not by itself establish that the trigger was reached before filing.

Build the dates from the passport record

Write down the relevant entry date, any later immigration events and the proposed filing date. Ask the receiving office how it applies the rule to interruptions or unusual travel history. Do not infer the count from the duration of a future hotel booking.

Keep the checklist complete

The August 2025 checklist applies its NBI provision to the principal, spouse and dependents aged 18 and above, and lists a one-year certificate validity. Confirm identity details against the passport and follow the current clearance process.

Use the planner correctly

For a new arrival, enter zero days already elapsed. If already in the country, enter the elapsed days before the planning start. The tool flags day 90 conservatively and keeps filing after preparation; it cannot decide the agency interpretation for your travel history.
