Start with the administering agency

PRA and BI are the primary sources for immigration rules. VA and TRICARE describe their own benefits and healthcare requirements. We distinguish a published agency rule from our planning assumptions and service scope.

A search result, third-party guide or field report can identify a question, but it does not override the official source. We link the actual document or page where the claim can be checked.

Date the claim, not just the page

The claim register records the source version, location within the document, date checked and a qualification. An old fee schedule remains a dated reference even when its link still works. A general source-review stamp does not certify every assertion as current.

Keep a source conflict visible

PRA’s overview and August 2025 checklist differ on military Courtesy wording and the exact NBI day boundary. We identify those differences and ask for case-specific written clarification. The decision tools do not turn an unresolved interpretation into an automatic eligibility result.

Test the decisions a tool makes

Calculators distinguish deposits from fees and count a spouse in the dependent total. The eligibility screen excludes future payments from current pension estimates. The trip planner keeps preparation before filing and labels after-filing events explicitly.

The questionnaire percentage measures answers completed. It is not an assessment of documents, disability, finances or approval odds.

Correct every published format

A correction must reach the page, relevant tool, text export, PDF and machine-readable reference. The rule tracker records material corrections and preserves the explanation of what changed. The source register records what remains unresolved.
