Receipts attached.How we verify
Every number on this site is checked against an official source, stamped with the date we checked it, and corrected in public the moment it changes.
The short answer
How does GoSRRV keep its figures accurate?
We claim a number, we cite the rule, and we screen our own work against it. Every deposit, fee, and threshold is verified against the Official Source Library, the 10 PRA, VA, TRICARE, DFAS, and Bureau of Immigration documents this site cites. Each fact panel carries a dated verification stamp, and when a figure changes we change the number and the date in the same deployment.
The standard.
A figure earns its place, or it comes off the page
Most sites about Philippine retirement visas repeat each other. A number gets copied from a forum, the forum copied it from an old PDF, and the old PDF was already out of date. We do not work that way. The discipline below is the whole reason a veteran can trust a deposit figure or a processing estimate on this site without re-checking it themselves.
One library, no second sources
Every figure traces to the Official Source Library: the live PRA pages, the Expanded SRRV Program PDF, the PRA Citizen’s Charter, and the federal pages at VA, TRICARE, DFAS, and the Bureau of Immigration. If a number is not in an official document, it does not go on the page.
One file holds the numbers
Every deposit, fee, threshold, and window lives in a single facts file that the pages, the calculator, the checklists, and the open dataset all read. No figure is typed twice, so no figure can drift out of sync between two pages.
A dated stamp on every fact panel
Wherever a PRA figure appears, the verification stamp travels with it. It reads, plainly, the date we last checked that number against its source. Today that date is June 18, 2026.
Corrections ship in the same deployment
When a figure changes, we change the number and the date in one release. The change is logged in the public rule tracker. We do not quietly edit a page and leave the old date standing.

The library.
Five official bodies, and nothing else
Every figure on GoSRRV traces back to one of five official bodies. The full list, with live links, is the Official Source Library. Here is who decides what.
| Body | What it governs here |
|---|---|
| PRAPhilippine Retirement Authority | Deposits, fees, the Courtesy and Classic rules, and the published processing window. |
| VAU.S. Department of Veterans Affairs | Compensation paid abroad, the Foreign Medical Program, and the Manila clinic. |
| TRICAREDefense Health Agency | TRICARE Select Overseas and TRICARE For Life for retirees and eligible family. |
| DFASDefense Finance and Accounting Service | The Retiree Account Statement that proves lifetime pension income to PRA. |
| BIBureau of Immigration | The 13A marriage visa, the alternative when the SRRV is not the better fit. |

The stamp.
What the verification stamp means
Wherever this site states a PRA number, you will see a short line in the mono face: it names the date we last checked that figure against its official source, and it links straight back to the library. It is not decoration. It is the receipt.
One stamp, one date, every page. The date is held in a single constant, so it cannot say one thing on the cost page and another on the document page. When we re-verify, the date moves everywhere at once. Here is the stamp as it renders today.

The corrections discipline.
We found our own error, and fixed it in public
A standard is only as good as the day it is tested. On June 18, 2026, re-verifying the whole site against the live sources, we caught our own processing-time page being imprecise. It blurred two different numbers that should never be blended.
PRA’s published Head-Office turn-around is about 10 working days, and PRA states plainly that this figure excludes Bureau of Immigration time. Our realistic, end-to-end planning estimate is 30 to 45 working days, which is ours, not PRA’s. The page had let those two sit too close together. We separated them, corrected the wording, and moved the verification date in the same deployment.
We did not delete the old page and pretend it never read that way. The change is logged where anyone can read it. That is the point of a corrections discipline: it has to be live, and it has to be visible, or it is just a promise.
“When a number changes, we change it and the date together, in public. A correction you cannot see is not a correction.”

Three ways to hold us to it
We would rather you verify than trust us. Each of these is open, dated, and built from the same single source of figures.
The Official Sources
The 10 live links behind every figure: PRA, VA, TRICARE, DFAS, and the Bureau of Immigration.
The Rule Tracker
The public changelog: what changed, when it changed, and which source moved the number.
The Open Dataset
The same figures as machine-readable JSON, with the verification date attached, free for anyone to read.
